Active barrier

Active packaging with a volumetric antibacterial effect

A conventional laminate protects the product passively — it simply separates it from the environment. The CHISTEH biocidal layer based on silver ions makes the packaging active: it suppresses microbial growth itself. Available for vacuum bags, lidding films, laminates and board.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Did not find the answer? Call or write — a technologist will reply within one business day.

What is better for chilled fillets — vacuum or skin?

Both keep the product fresh. SKINFRESH™ skin packaging gives a more premium look and fixes the product on the board; a vacuum bag is a versatile and economical solution. We will advise for your product and equipment.

How do I get rid of juice on the shelf?

Use an absorbent pad — the juice goes into the absorbent layer and the surface stays dry.

Can I get samples?

Yes, we will send samples of bags and boards for a trial on your line.
